I think it's a great move on the part of MEC. Looks like a proper MTB. Still if you look at Jenson's, that now ships Yetis to Canada, you can have an ASR-5 with a similar build for 3400 taxes and shipping included. You at least have to add 10% or more sales tax to the Ghost, which put the price upwards of 3500 at the very least.
So, good deal for a presumably good bike (never tried one, don't know), but still, solid deals can be had from USA mail order sites on proven bikes with a solid track record...
What goggles are those? How do they attach to the helmet?
That's some crazy Yeti color you gonna get for sure. Can't wait too see the finished product. Mine kinda looks sad in all black. But it's such a good bike, crazy on the gate and stable on the track. Never had heel rub issues, although I sized up and went for a large when I normaly ride mediums... I even rode a full day in Bromont with the DJ. Had good fun, but sore wrists and knees the next day!!
@Waldon: I don't agree that Graves should go back to full time DH world cup racing. Such a talent is unbeleivable to watch down the course and is an inspiration and a model of training and race preparation. Did you ever read the 4x thread on Ridemonkey where he chimed in with great comments and insigths on how 4x should evolve and how the courses should be built? Never did 4x have a good ambassador like this (Forget about Lopes, he did nothing but b*tch about 4x. Eric Carter was the only other World Champion worthy of being a good ambassador) and if we want 4x to grow, we need people like him to continue racing 4x.
